éḳdomk ˁag di-ḥédom ḫádmeʰ di-ˀaḷ-yeḥódems ˁag diyáḥŝeʸh yenáfaˁ wa-ˀaḷ-yerázaḥ wa-keʰ ˁámok heʸh tóuṣaḷ ḥe deš be-bíľeʰ yóuṣaḷ ḥeb ḷe-rízaḥ wa-díˀʸheʰ ḷe-ḥidómeʰ táḳib daráhɛm di-déḷaḳ wa-báˁaḷ órbiˁ men ˁeghéten kor yešaṭífin men rízaḥ di-rizéḥeʸh ḷe-ˀέmɛd wa-díˀʸheʰ ḷe-biˁóḷeʰ béšeʰ ṭeʸh mésen ˁemέroʰ ˁéyyek ṭaľáḳ wa-díˀʸheʰ ḷe-ṭaľáḳ béšeʰ déžen ˁemέroʰ ˁéyyek hóˀrho ṭaľáḳ wa-kaḥ tho dégni ˁegɛbétoʰ ṭaľáḳ ˁö́mor bíŝi ṭaḷáḳ fáḥre ‘I saw a man who did a job that no one else could do, and he worked tirelessly. (Moreover,) whenever I said to him: “Help me with this or that thing”, he really did help me, even when he was tired. From working so much, he earned a lot of money and married four wives to (get some relief from) the weariness he had carried for a long time. After the marriage, one of the women started to cry, saying: “I want a divorce!” After the divorce, another cried saying: “I also want a divorce!” Then the remaining two likewise asked for a divorce. But he said: “No one is getting a divorce!”’ (fieldwork)
