a. men yom men iyyámat áḷḷaʰ menáḷ yezóˁom ˁag díˀʸheʰ ke-ˀeˀḷhíten wayedór gedóḥotš ˁáže ‘On one day of the days of God, while he was staying with his cows, dwelling with them, a woman came to him’ (CSOL II 1:7)
b. gaˁároʰ še éľľehe men eḳníyoʰ di-ṭafk ˁes wa-ḥérek mes ˁaf ekóses wa-se ezkémoʰ wa-ˀaḷ-ˀɛľíḳin ‘One of my cows fell ill because of the food I had given it. I looked for it until I found it: it bowed its head and wouldn’t chew its cud’ (CSOL II 1:78)
c. ˁö́mor kánoʰ še ṭeʸh díˀʸho šégreʰ fɔ́ne diˀáḳaˁs έˀɛfo wa-ˀekóse mes mɛľ ẓ̂eḷóˁoʰ bes díˀʸho ˁážeʰ e-ṭad díˀseʰ ṣáḥeb ‘He said: “I used to have a tree I would pose a riddle to people about, and I used to get wealth from it. But my wife told a friend of hers about it”’ (CSOL II 4:36)
