b. wa-ˀérem ˁeyyúg yáḥkumu be-deʰ mákon wa-šéʸhen ˁag suwáḥiľi wa-deʰ suwáḥiľi ˁag ˁeẓ̂ ‘And there were a few men who ruled the Makon. Among them was one Swahili, and that Swahili was a strong man’ (CSOL I 2:2)

3. naˁámer be-saḳɔ́ṭri ˁag keʰ áˁne íľʸheʰ érhon ṭeyʰ šɔm wa-ḷaṭ ḥeḷɛbésen ḳarére yeˁúmor heʸh énḳeḷ íľʸheʰ érhon ‘On Soqotra, if someone has skipped milking his goats for a day and then milks them, it is said that the man énḳeḷ his goats’ (CSOL II 2:7)
