ˁö́ṣam (yaˁáṣam/ľaˁṣám)

a. wa-ˁö́ṣam wa-ŝóľik wa-ŝóľik ˁaf tóuṭar káno rɛ́mɛš ‘Then he was binding and fastening them (the trunks) until it held. It became a raft’ (CSOL I 29:22-23)
b. wa-ḷaṭ yeŝóukof be-trɔ ṭárbi ... wa-ḷaṭ yeˁúṣam ˁeyʰ súwa ˁaf ľiṭár wa-ˀaḷ-ľišέrḳaḥ meyʰ rob ‘Then two sticks... are crossed at the mouth (of the skin vessel), then bound to hold fast so the date syrup does not run out’ (CSOL II 11:24)
