этимология

The widespread PS nominal root *baˁl- ‘owner, master, lord’ is preserved in Soqotri in most of its principal semantic ramifications attested elsewhere in Semitic (EDA I 87–88): “owner” (baˁ-, di-báḥľe), “divine Lord” (báˁľhi, field notes for CSOL III) and “to marry” (báˁaḷ).
