a. wa-ˀégdaḥ kaḷb ke-nhɔfš kaḷb diyáḥŝeʸh di-sö́ḳaḷ ŝɔb wa-seʰ gišέḷoʰ ‘The dog brought another dog along dangling its leg, which was broken’ (CSOL II 30:15)

b. wa-tóˀo eráḥan aḷ-fŝo ŝínik ˁag tóˀo yesáḳaḷ díˀʸheʰ éˀed ˁámok heʸh yɔ aḷ-taḥtít tebóḷeg éˀed ‘When we came to lunch, I saw the man raise his hand from the food (and stop eating). I said to him: “Don’t be shy! Move your hand!”’ (CSOL II 30:15)
