a. ṭérodk míˀšer wa-tóˀo éraḥ gáḥi kḷoḷk heʸh díˀʸho be-naḳf wa-ḳéroʸh wa-ḷaṭ ḷoyk beʸh ‘I was pursuing a billy-goat, and when I came into the valley, I threw a piece of cloth on its face. It jumped up and I caught it’ (CSOL I 2:48)

b. wa-gédaḥ míˀšer diˀáḷ díˀʸho ḳáḳaʰ wa-kḷeḷ heʸh wa-ḷe beʸh ‘And the billy-goat came to my brother, and he threw a piece of cloth at it and then seized it’(CSOL II 8:27)

c. wa-keʰ gedéḥek míˀšer kḷoḷ ‘And if the billy-goat comes to you, throw a piece of cloth at it’ (CSOL II 8:27)

a. kḷoḷk heʸh be-ganḥ wa-dónib di-tέˀɛʰ ‘And I threw to him a piece from the breast and a tail of a sheep’ (Bulakh et al. 2021:285)
