In view of farḫ ‘bastard’ in the Arabic dialect of Hadramaut (Landberg 1901:673) - likely an Arabic loanword, along with Meh. farḫ, Jib. fɛrḫ. Almost certainly connected to *parḫ- ‘chick, brood, young of a bird’.
