a. wa-ˀɛy héʸhen meʸh ḳáber wa-ḳáber aḷ-ḳáber kaḷ béde béʸhen dö́fon ḳámḥin wa-defέnes tóˀo ḳáber di-ḥéyhe ‘And he would show them a tomb, but not the real tomb, for he was lying to them: he had buried in that place a ḳámḥin-tree trunk as if it were a human’ (CSOL II 30:16)
b. ríˀiš ˁag díˀʸheʰ men ṣáḥeb ˁímɛr heʸh sfor ímšin ˁö́mor ɛʰ bek ˁámok náṭin ber yíbod fe ber ˁad yezóˁom ḥa énhor di-déḷaḳ ‘The man inquired about his friend. They said to him: “He left yesterday.” Then my friend said: “Eh! Didn’t I say he was certainly lying to me when he said: “I’ll stay here for many days”’ (CSOL I 28:21)
c. énkaˁ ḥe ˁag šáhid kor yešhád šeʸh wa-tóˀo gédaḥ šáhid di-máḥkamaʰ kor yešhád aḷ-šébde heʸh kor yíbod ḥe ‘A man had brought a witness to testify for him against me. But when the witness came to court, it turned out he was not able to lie about me’ (CSOL II 13:25)
