éẓ̂a šin ŝέrŝɛr maḥáŝe wa-ḥeréˀen neŝráḥ wa-nónḥi wa-ˀaḷ-ˀetébdo di-nέhɛr wa-di-bétaḳ ˁes tesḳíľoḷ mey ŝɔb men ẓ̂íḥo wa-ˀɛbído tan ˁaf nešráḳaḥ tɛr ‘The s.-plant emerged in terrible quantities in our area. We tried to eradicate and burn it, but it didn’t disappear: whoever went and stepped on it, his foot had to be lifted out of pain. The plant was tormenting us and, in the end, we had to go away from that area’ (CSOL III 26:12)
