yaˁámer énhi aḷ-déḥeẓ̂ mek ḥoẓ̂ wa-ho betk wa-ˀenˁábrer énhi wa-kɔn še wa-ŝínik ber ménhi ḥoẓ̂ aḷ-déḥeẓ̂ wa-de fáḥre ken díˀyho áḷḷa ber ŝḥaḳ be-ḳaľám ˁam éken be-mɛr díˀyho di-bíyyo wa-ˀaḷ-mektéšab ménhi ḥoẓ̂ menáḷ ḷáˁad ˁar móṭľihim ke-díˀyho áḷḷa wa-ˀaḷ-yenóši tho be-dénya wa-be-ḳáber ‘Everybody I’ve met has been saying to me: “Your luck never lets you down!” And I myself am aware, for it’s clear to me, and has happened to me, and I’ve seen it with my own eyes: my luck never lets me down. And all this is from my God, who inscribed this with His calamus when I was still in the womb of my mother. Indeed, wherever I go, my lot is not a miserable one, but I find myself favored by my God. He will not forget me either in this world or in the grave’ (CSOL III 16:90)
