a. égaḥk témreʰ wa-tóˀo éraḥk mes ḥanḳ natḥᵃẓ̂óʰ fe kérbɛʰ ˁaf hέben esóri ‘I climbed a date-palm. When I reached the place where the leaves start to grow, a branch (upon which my foot stood) got loose and fell down, so that I nearly fell down’ (Bulakh 2024:176)
b. wa-ṭaʰ máˁabher ḷaḷ yentóˀoḷ men mέsɛ yeˁóumor máˁabher nátḥaẓ̂ ‘It is said about a palm-tree, if its fruit-stalks are lowered down to its trunk, it is said: the date-palm lowered down its dates. Also about a boulder, if it is moved from its place because of rain, it is said: the boulder fell down’ (Bulakh 2024:177)
