When I met his owner, I told him: “Slaughter the camel which was paralyzed before he dies, before the vultures start to peck him”. He asked me: “Hey, is he not going to recover? Is he lost entirely?” I said: “I don’t believe he will, and I wash my hands off him”. As the man heard me, he also gave up his hope that his camel would recover, and he did not even want to inspect him. He sent his sons to slaughter him before he would die’ (Bulakh 2024:208)
