a. ḳotélem megóše be-ẓ̂ayέfɛʰ di-méṣˁod ḥteʰ ˁaf tṣábaḥ wa-di-ṣabḥ ḳéḷom ˁéʸhen medérhem di-yéṣrer ‘Boys were jumping together at a weddingfeast of Meṣʕod, all the night till morning. In the morning their heels suddenly began to ache’ (Bulakh 2024:148)

b. ḷaḷ yéken ṭíriḥ di-ˁážeʰ taˁaméren ˁeghéten debóbeʰ wa-teḳaḷémen (or: teḳtelómen) be-ˁamḳ di-ḥágwaʰ ‘When there is a feast of giving away a girl for marriage, women beat the drum and jump inside the courtyard’ (Bulakh 2024:148)

2. wa-ḳatéľmik men máˁabher id-máˁabher wa-men mešfínoʰ id-mešfínoʰ wa-men séḳľeheľ id-séḳľheľ ˁaf ebáraḥ be-soḷk ‘I started to jump from one boulder to another, and from one flat stone to another, and from one large stone to another, till I finally got to the other side’ (Bulakh 2024:148)

3. ḳáḷaˁ tho ˁag be-tfɛr di-ˀóˀoz id-ˁayn ḳatéľmik idéʸh be-méraˁ ‘A man hurled at me some goat dung (which hit) my eye, and Irushed to fight him’ (Bulakh 2024:149)

In the Vienna corpus, the verb is documented with the meaning ‘to go, betake oneself, proceed’ (Arb. ˀittaǯaha) (Müller 1905:234₇). This employment is known to our language consultants: see example 3 (Bulakh 2024:148–149).
