1.

a. ľigáḥ témreʰ tóˀo ˁeḷhéyoʰ ... ˁaf ľiṣṭár mes aḷ ˁaḷyémoʰ ... ľiṭráḳ men boḳ tóˀo béšreʰ ‘May he climb a palm which is oh so tall..., so that as soon as he reaches the crown... he drops from it like a ripe date’ (CSOL I 9:3)

b. tóˀo ekö́ben ḳáryaʰ eḳdómen iľ-baḥmírhɛr di-ṣéṭar be-témreʰ di-ˁíľoʰ ‘When we entered a palm-grove we saw some of iľ-baḥmírhɛr-birds which were sitting on a tall palm-tree’ (Naumkin et al. 2013b:555) 

c. wa-ḷaṭ ṣö́ṭar bésen be-ˁamḳ be-ri di-ḷéḳhɛm ‘And then he settled with them (the mats) in the upper part of the l.-tree’ (CSOL I 24:19)

a. béḷog heʸh gáˁľheľ wa-ṣeṭárotš ḷe-dέfɛʰ ‘He threw a pebble at it, and it struck it (the billy-goat) in the flank’ (CSOL I 8:56)

b. ʸhes ri fáˀḥɛr ṣeṭáres ḳɔn ṭad di-ḥaʰ ˁaf tešráḳaḥ ḷe-ḥaʰ ‘The bull plunged its head into her so that one of its horns struck her body and pierced it throughout (lit. struck here here and went out here)’ (CSOL I 8:52)

a. ṣéṭer ˁeyyúg taľátaʰ ḷe-ṭáḥrer wa-ˀaḷ-téˀes fáḥreʰ ‘Three men were trying to shoot a mountain goat but none could hit it’ (CSOL I 23:13)

b. ṣéṭar ˁag be-ẓ̂ayέfɛʰ wa-fátḥaš kenš béndoḳ di-ḥóyhe wa-ˀetóˀoʰ ṭad men έˀɛfo raṣáṣaʰ ‘A man was shooting at a feast, but the rifle fell out of his hands down to the earth and the bullet hit one of the people’ (Naumkin et al. 2013b:555) 

c. ṣeṭároʰ ˁággi be-bánduḳ diˀáḷ zegáraʰ di-ˁiḳíľoʰ héʸhi ‘Two men were shooting at a cigarette placed as a target’ (CSOL I 23:13)

4. ö́ẓ̂aḥ ˁag ḳáreb be-ŝɔb wa-gédaḥk ho wa-nö́ḳask toʸh wa-ḷaṭ férozk ˁaf yeṣáṭar meʸh dem ‘A man had a wound in his leg. I came, opened it and pressed upon it so that the pus came out’ (Naumkin et al. 2013b:555)

‘To shoot at someone/something (diˀaḷ-)’ (3c)

‘To shoot (no complement)’ (3b)

ṣéṭar ḷe- ‘to overlook (about a room, window, etc.)’:
ezˁómen be-γúrfeʰ di-ṣeṭároʰ ḷe-ŝéraṭ di-béʸhen ṣ̌aˁáreʰ ‘We stayed in a room that overlooked streets full of noise’ (CSOL II 21:5)
