a. ṭáhɛrk ɛḥáṭab ṭírob wa-šérḳaḥk ŝégre wa-ˀoḥóre men éṣyhɛl wa-ḳóẓ̂ifk ṭarb di-keréḷḷo tóˀo ḳóẓ̂ifk ṣóter ṭarb kénhi ˁaf yebáraḥ be-méḳhim wa-ˀaḷ-ˁak gésork ḷeˁád ˁey ḳóẓ̂ifk ľhɛg wa-ḷaṭ ḥómiḷk wa-záˁayk id-ḳáˁar kor yeˁóumor béʸhen eḳníyo ‘I went to collect some wood. I went up a mountain pass to look for some good pieces of wood, and I broke a piece of wood of a k.-tree. As I broke it, the piece of wood slipped from me (from my hands) and fell to the gorge, (so deep that) I could not go and fetch it. So I broke a few other pieces, loaded them upon myself and brought home, to cook some food on them (that is, on the fire from them)’ (Bulakh 2024:195)

b. ṭérodk óˀoz wa-díˀse míˀšer ke-ˀérhon kor éḷoy be-míˀšer wa-tóˀo éraḥk ḳaríb máṭef ṣóter míˀšer ḥŝey ken érhon wa-ˀóˀoz kiˀíyo ke-ˀérhon wa-telέhɛ ‘I was pursuing a she-goat with its male kid, side by side with other goats, to get hold of the male kid. When I almost reached the plain, the male kid separated from the goats and went on his own. As for the mother goat, she stayed with the other goats and was bleating’  (Bulakh 2024:195)
