šérḳaḥk ḥágher wa-ˀáˁmodk beʸh be-ˁamḳ di-ḥteʰ ṣáḳaˁk ŝiyáṭ ˁaf tšeb ḳáˁar ‘I went up to Hagher and stayed the night there. In the middle of the night I lit a fire to warm the house.’ (CSOL I 8:33)
wa-ˀádaḥ be-ŝiyáṭ ˁaf ľiyhób tebóḷeg díˀɛʰ ḥéṣhɛḷ di-tɛʰ di-ḳáneʰ wa-ḳaróḥoḷ wa-ˁamíyin ˁésen ‘Then put it on the fire so that the fat melts, then throw in the cuts of meat and stir so that the fat covers the meat.’ (CSOL II 3:8)
