wa-seʰ ṭíboʰ ḥaʰ ṭeʸh ḫádemaʰ ḥaʰ díˀseʰ be-ḳáˁar ṭeʸh ḥigéreʰ di-ḥegɛ́roʰ hes ḥaʰ díˀseʰ be-ḳáˁar ‘She knew there was one watch-girl watching the house for her’ (CSOL I 1:58)

ḥégor nhɔfš ˁan ‘to constrain oneself from something’: ḥére ľiḥgέr nhɔfš ˁan deʰ nέfaˁ ‘He tried to constrain himself from doing this’ (Bulakh 2024:113)

• ḥigéreʰ female guard
• ḥágir to inspect a cow or goat regularly in the last stage of its pregnancy
• ḥᵃger to make guard, to employ somebody as a guard
• ḥóžer storage place (usually not locked)
• ḥígir or ḥíghir guarding
• ḥᵃger to forecast the weather
