Together with Mhr. ˀōdeb ‘to torment, to annoy’ and Jib. ˁoúḏb ‘to torment, to annoy’ (JL 7), a borrowing from Arb. ˁḏb (II) ‘to punish, to castigate’. See also Bulakh 2024:102-103.
