a. ṭeʸh ˁážeʰ maˁẓ̂áneʰ wa-škéroʰ še wa-ˀaḷ-ˀégzɛyk ľikán ses góˁor ˁes díˀseʰ bέbɛʰ zóugod di-tɛr wa-di-ḳáneʰ bíŝi di-ˀéṭbeš kaḷ seʰ wa-ľhɛg aḷ-ˁódeb nhɔ́fšen ṭeʸh šɔm hímaˁk meʸh be-ḥábhɛr béše ˁážeʰ wa-ŝtέˀyoʰ ‘There is a woman whom I love very much, and she is very kind to me. And I didn’t want what happened to her to happen. Her father fell ill and had to be carried to and from the home; there was nobody to care for him except her: other relatives couldn’t be bothered. One day I heard news of his death. The woman broke into tears and fell into a depression’ (CSOL III 8:19)
