a. yɛʰ bíŝi šeš wa-deš di-téḳan heš taˁágob meš bíľeʰ di-teróẓ̂es ‘Listen, you have nothing, and whoever rears the boy for you will ask you for something to make her happy’ (CSOL II 24:12c)

b. íľľiho ḥáḷoyḳ íľ-ˁamúd aḷ-ḷárẓ̂ayk menaḥághon ‘My earrings made of wire, and with my toys I will not please you’ (CSOL II 25:8)
