a. wa-kšob tho tóˀo hímaˁk díˀʸheʰ ˁaľamát ṣ̌éyor aḷ-ṭáfen ˁeʸh ľikέb ṭebb ˁámor óˀo ḷekέb ˁámok ɛʰ tšógi be-nhɔfk náˁaʰ di-ˁéyyek ‘He made me desperate when I heard that his marks were low and would not allow him to enter the faculty of medicine. He asked:“What faculty shouldI enter?”I said:“Hey, (now) you can do what you want”’ (Bulakh 2024:170–171)

b. kénozk ˁákbar wa-ho bek kénozk taľát áˁnhɛ di-ˀérhon wa-tóˀo éraḥk ˁákbar wa-ˀetéte ḳáraḥ wa-ḳatéṭab tóˀo ŝínik ṭánˀeʰ katšebík kšob tho ˁákbar di-ḳatéṭab ‘I stuffed (with dried dates) a small leather vessel, having already filled three bigger ones. When I reached that small leather vessel and was about to complete it, the vessel got torn and burst.WhenI saw this,I gave up: this leather vessel which got torn made me give up’ (Bulakh 2024:171)
