a. wa-deʰ di-yémos eḳníyoʰ ľázem yemáṭoḳ hes énṭen kor ḷaḷ stɛ tšemaṭíḳin meʸh ṭáˁam wa-tebéten ber matéṭaḳ ‘As for the man who mashes the food, he has to give her first a little bit to taste, so that she starts eating and recognizes its taste and realizes that it is tasty’ (Bulakh 2024:127)

b. wa-ˀɛʰ tšemaṭíḳin suwá ber yúmken šέber bek be-ˀídi wa-deʰ rího di-tɛʰ matéṭaḳ ŝey beʸh aḷ-ẓ̂aḷ ‘Better you taste it in a thorough way! Perhaps you have some sap on your hands. This broth has a good taste. There is nothing wrong about it’ (Bulakh 2024:127)
