a. ŝínik ˁouyέghɛn di-hέmen yéftḥoš di-ŝiyáṭ wa-ho be-ˁamḳ di-ˀέˀɛfo déryhɛ ktéľmik kor eṣ̌óˁor ˁar ḥastɛyk ˁan έˀɛfo ľhɛʰ déryhɛ ‘I saw a boy who almost fell into a fire, while I was amid of strangers. And I was on the verge of crying out, but I was ashamed because of the strangers’ (Bulakh 2024:122)

b. ómidk ber ʸhenέdoʰ ber aḷ-tédom men ṣ̌aˁáreʰ aḷ-ˁérobk ifóḷ ḷešgέ ktéľmik aˀáraḥs diˀáḷ ḳurˀán ‘Perhaps she is sleepy because she cannot sleep because of crying. I don’t know how I should proceed.
