a. ˁaf tóˀo ftáḳḥoʰ ḥteʰ šéˀef ṭad men ˁággi wa-ˀéṭḳaˁ be-ˀéreʰ ‘At midnight, one of the two men stretched out and stared at the moon’ (CSOL I 4:18)

b. dómik be-tɛr tóˀo ftáḳḥoʰ ḥteʰ ébdodk nísɛs wa-ˀetéḳṭik bésen wa-ˀékobk di-ḳáˁar ‘I was sleeping outside the house. In the middle of the night I felt rain drops, woke up and went inside’ (CSOL I 18:42)
