ródi yeṣáber ˁey áḷḷa ˁaf ṭey yhom yefáẓ̂aḥš wa-yˁorébiš έˀɛfo ber ródi yezáˁa di-ˀέˀɛfo wa-ḷaṭ yoˀómer έˀɛfo eˀíľyhen merέŝi aḷ-téken díṭhɔ ber aḷ-ˁáden neṣáṭar be-ˁamḳ di-ˀέˀefo wa-ˀaḷ-neẓ̂óḥok ˁar deš ˁézmo di-ˀaḷ-teṭóhor be-zɛm yedɛkéres έˀɛfo dέhɛr wa-ˀaḷ-yenóše ‘God may tolerate a thief, but one day He will denounce him and the people will realize that this person is a thief, one who takes what belongs to others. Then people will say to their families: “Don’t act like that or we won’t be able to sit among people and to laugh sincerely with them, because this will be a mark of shame that will never leave us: people will always remember it, they will not forget it”’ (CSOL III 8:13)
