b. estέkiˁ ḷe-gáḥi ‘He crossed a wadi’ (Bulakh 2024:163–164)

In example a, the verb is used transitively, but our language consultants claim that in their usage, the preposition ḷe- is obligatory (Bulakh 2024:164)

• šéskaˁ to be suitable for crossing (a wadi)
