a. éḳdomk di-baḥmírhɛr di-sedέkoʰ be-ri di-témreʰ ṭáhɛrk ˁámok dor di-ˀéˀteb wa-ḷaṭ ˁámok ˁátwaʰ wa-ḷaṭ ˁamok dor di-ˀéˀteb ḷe-ˁátwaʰ wa-ḷaṭ ˁö́ḳaḷk hes díˀseʰ be-sédek tóˀo gedóḥoʰ rebáẓ̂oʰ díˀseʰ be-sédek ḷe bes dor wa-gedáḥk tos wa-ḷoyk bes wa-ḷaṭ ḥezk tos ‘I saw a green pigeon (di-baḥmírhɛr), who made a nest on the top of a date-palm. I set off to gather some resin of the ˀéˀteb-tree, then I made a triangular wooden frame and put some ˀéˀteb-resin on this frame. Then I put it into the nest. When the mother bird came and sat down in its nest, the resin caught it, then I came and seized it and slaughtered it’ (Bulakh et al. 2021:261)
