морфологические примечания

The form yesódek is irregular and perhaps borrowed from the active type of the basic stem (Bulakh et al. 2021:260, fn. 50).

семантические примечания

The stem IV does not denote any causation, but rather implies an external possession with the meaning ‘to thicken its foliage (of a tree), to have thick hair (of a human being)’ (Bulakh 2021:279).

прочие примечания

The form sedigtoh in Müller 1905:282 (wa-ˁémor heh állāh díbbeh wa-sedígtoh ṭhar Yū́nān ‘Und es machte ihm Gott eine Kürbis, und er wuchs über Jona empor’), misinterpreted by Leslau, is explained by our informants as (e)sdek toʸh ‘he (God) made it thick’. Possibly related is sédak ‘herbe’ (LS 282). (Bulakh et al. 2021:260, fn. 51)
