inέm ḥaʰ mógšem di-fuľán aḷ-ḥotének ‘How is the son of such and such? Did not he start suckling?’ (Bulakh 2024:117)

• ḥónik 1. to give his first food to a newborn child; 2. to accustom the palm saplings to the watering regime
• ḥanákɛn a male person who gives a newborn child its first food
• ḥánkon or ḥanekénoʰ a female person who gives a newborn child its first food
• ḥénok to give his first food to a newborn child
• ḥᵃnek to feel at home
• šḥánik to be able to be suckled
