ḥéyhe ḷaḷ yéṣam yesˀɛréten έˀɛfo ľheʰ di-yéken heyʰ meyʰ meľ ke-díˀʸheʰ embóryeʰ wa-ke-díˀʸheʰ ḳaḳáyhon wa-ke-díˀʸheʰ έˀɛfo waľľá di-ṭef ˁeyʰ áḷḷaʰ wa-deʰ di-bíŝi šeyʰ embóryeʰ yeˁóumor heyʰ meḳtéṭaˁ wa-ḷaṭ díˀʸheʰ mɛľ yeˀɛrítinš ḳáẓ̂i e-ˀiľʸheʰ ˁuṣabáˀ ‘When a man dies, the people who are his relatives divide his wealth – such people as his children, and his brothers and sisters, and his relatives, or anybody God had given him. And the one without children is called meḳtéṭaˁ. And as for his wealth, the judge gives it as inheritance to his far relatives.’ (Naumkin et al. 2019b:75)
