éẓ̂ẓ̂eḷ ḥe ˁag díˀʸho ḳáˁyehɛr wa-díˀʸho basatín wa-ḳéḷob arẓ̂ di-féžher ˁámok aˀḥ áḷḷa deʰ ˁag di-góˀor ḥe díˀʸho ḳáˁyehɛr wa-ˀéẓ̂ẓ̂eḷ ḥe díˀʸho zaráˁaʰ wa-ḳéḷob ḥe díˀʸho maˀáwi ˁámok aˀḥ áḷḷa kor dófeˀš wa-der ˁag ˁaf tóˀo kɔn ŝíbɛb défe wa-ˀaḷ-ˁad yeʸhámaˁ kaḷ keʰ náfnofk heʸh be-ˀed ‘One man destroyed my houses and my gardens, turning cultivated land into a barren field. I said: “Oh God! This man who ruined my houses, destroyed my crops and turned my dwellings upside down—make him deaf, oh God!” And when the man got old, he became deaf. He was not able to hear unless you beckoned him with your hand.’ (CSOL II 21:5)
