a. yóuṭaf ˁeʸh ˁouyέghɛn éˀenṭ di-fŝo wa-yeṭóhor wa-yaˀáraḥ díˀʸheʰ έnnɛʰ ḷe-fɛg di-ˁö́bhor wa-yeḳáḷaˁ hes díˀʸheʰ fŝo di-ˁö́bhor ‘The boy would be given something to eat for his lunch — then he would go off and come down to his sister at the rim of the well, and he would throw his lunch to her, into the well’ (CSOL II 28:50)

b. ˁö́ḳaḷ énhi ˁag kob be-ri di-máˁabher wa-ˁö́mor énhi eṭáf ˁek daráhem kéľľama ḳáḷaˁk deʰ kob di-boḳ be-ˀóˀoben ‘A man put a glass on the top of a boulder and said to me: “I will give you money if you manage to break that glass by throwing a stone”’ (CSOL II 1:140)

c. ḳáḷaˁ tho ˁag be-ˀóben wa-hέmen toˀóte tho di-ri ˁan (ˁar) régom bɛʰ áḷḷaʰ enṣéḷes di-naṣf ‘A man hurled a stone at me, and it would have hit my head had God not made it veer’ (CSOL II 30:18)

d. wa-tóˀo éreḥ boḳ édof frángi ṭey ľim wa-ḳerɛ́šes wa-ḳáḷaˁ bes di-ḥeʰ wa-ˀáˁre ‘When they came to the tree, the European took one lime, peeled it, tossed it into his mouth and swallowed it whole’ (CSOL I 12:8)

e. ḳáḷaˁk óˀoz kor toˀókeb di-míṣ̌her ‘I threw (little stones) at a goat to make it enter the pen’ (CSOL II 1:165) 

v. n. ḳíľeˁ ‘throwing’: fóˀosk tok menáḷ ɛ ḳanínhin áḷḷaʰ ḷe-ˀeghémoʰ wa-ḳíľeˁ ḳanínhin áḷḷaʰ ‘I beg you wherever you are, Lord God, for herding and throwing, Lord God’ (CSOL I 23:41)

wa-tóˀo atéḳṭik ḷe-ˁóŝi betk ber ˀáḷḷaʰ ḥᵃḷem tho kor ezáˁa waẓ̂ífeʰ di-tarbíyeʰ wa-taˁľím wa-záˁayk tos wa-ḳáḷaˁk be-déžen ‘When I woke up in the morning I understood that God had sent me a dream to make me take the position of the teacher and instructor. And I took it and rejected the other one’ (Bulakh et al. 2021:265)
