a. ṭáhɛr ˁouyέghɛn yeṣábaḥ wa-yhe ḷáfi béne ‘So the boy went to look for the goats. Now he was very strong‘ (CSOL I 28:18)
b. έter ˁag ḷáfi wa-di-ˁeẓ̂ wa-ḷaḷ yaˁágob bíľeʰ deš bíľeʰ di-ˁégeb hes yemáṭaˀs díˀʸheʰ be-ˀáˁẓ̂eẓ̂ ‘Eter was a strong and vigorous man, and when he desired something, the thing he desired he would attain thanks to his strength’ (CSOL II 30:1)
c. wa-tóˀo ḳaríb tegóhoz ʸháḷaḥ ˁag ḷáfi wa-ˀéʸhor mes wa-šaˁbéres di-fáˁam wa-ˀédof mes ḷe-tíľheľ ‘As it (a cow) was about to escape, one strong fellow lept out of the crowd and went after the cow, seizing it by the upper part of the hind leg and grabbing the tip of its tail’ (CSOL III 14:17)
