ملاحظات أخرى
As a sexual euphemism: wa-fɔ́ne men di-báˁaḷ férhim di-sáṭahan wa-šéˁef ses ľázem yekέˀɛ ḷe-ˁóŝi dor be-ṭádaˁ di-feráš ‘Now formerly, when someone married a sultan’s daughter and slept with her, the next morning some blood had to be left on the sheet’ (CSOL I 19:22)
In the speech of the informants from the Da’rho tribe the meaning ‘to lie down’ is reserved to šéˀef, which is normally opposed to déme ‘to sleep’. In the Vienna corpus šéˀef is often attested with the meaning ’to sleep’ (see further details Kogan 2015:509–510)
