éḳdomk ḥáres di-yenáfaˁ súwa díˀʸheʰ masˀúľ déme masˀúľ be-kɛndhíyoʰ di-šérhom be-žiféˀeʰ wa-ḷe-dɛ́mi di-masˀúľ gedóḥotš eṣṭíˁoʰ di-šéyhom wa-ʸheʰ déme tóˀo éḳdem díˀʸheʰ ḥáres ḳéṣaˁ ḷe-ḥaḷf deʰ di-tegodíḥin ˁey eṣṭíˁoʰ di-šɔm kor yežófe ˁeʸh ˁan šéyhom ‘‘Once I saw a guard who performed a good service for his boss. The boss was sleeping in the shadow of a tree, and while he was sleeping, the heat of the sun came on him (this is while he was sleeping). When the guard saw this, he stood on the side that the sun’s heat was coming from, thus shading his boss from the sun’s heat.’ (CSOL II 7:6)
