šénked ḥe díˀʸho ḥouľeheľ di-ḳáneʰ di-ˁíṣ̌eʰ wa-ḥéyyaṭk ˁeʸh ‘My ring fell into a pond, and I had to dive in after it’ (CSOL II 20:33)

According to our informants, ḥéyyaṭ is not quite synonymous with ˁéʸhoṣ: the former is used for merely descending into a body of water, while the latter is used for diving down to the very bottom.
