ḥíľeʰ téken ḳabľ aḷ-tfᵉẓ̂aḥ ḥaḷóḷeʰ wa-seʰ ˁédoʰ ḥóuroʰ wa-ḷaḷ tšᵉráḳaḥ men ḳánfer téken di-feṭáṭhɛn wa-ḷaṭ téken ḥíľeʰ ‘An unripe date is a date before it gets ripe. It is as yet green (lit. black). When it appears from the pedicle it is called di-feṭáṭhɛn, and then it becomes ḥíľeʰ’ (field notes)
