naˁámer di-megrέfɛf ḷébḷeb di-ṣafáḳaʰ ḷaḷ yegreféfen wa-yeˁóuṣam ˁeʸh wa-ṭaʰ yeˁóumor gardíľeʰ di-mekíneʰ deš di-ḥóuyaṭ bes bíššoḷ yeˁóumor hes megrέfɛf di-mekíneʰ ‘We say di-megrέfɛf about a stem of nettle if it is bent and bound together. And also the wheel of a sewing machine is called megrέfɛf of the machine’ (field notes)

wa-ŝóuṭar ŝérhi deʰ di-ˀíṭab wa-ḷaṭ yeḥóuyaṭ fírod fáḥre di-ŝérhi be-di-megrέfɛf ˁaf teṭár súwa wa-tέkɛn tóˀo féngan ‘Then the leather which has been beaten is cut up, and all of its sides are strapped to the hoop until it holds and becomes like a cup’ (CSOL II 9:21)
