a. nέhɛr ṭad ˁouyέghɛn báˁad-aḷ múγreb ḷe-bustán wa-ˁagíľoʰ ˁeʸh tiˀíľoʰ wa-tɛˀíľotš ˁaf yefázaˁ ‘A boy passed by the palm grove in the evening, and a scary thing (= a ginni woman) met him, and scared him, and he was frightened’ (CSOL II1:108)
b. dékomk toʸh di-ˁáreb ˁaf yedáḥdaḥ wa-fézaˁk šébek yíṣam ‘I pushed him in his neck. He fell down, and I was scared: I thought he would die’ (CSOL II 2:6)
