a. wa-ˀédof ˁes wa-šḥáṭes ḷe-ˀóˀoben wa-fer mes néŝyes wa-ˀébraḥ beʸh be-ˁayn wa-ṣáme ‘He grabbed it and struck a stone with it. A shard shot off of it, hit him in his eye, and he died’ (CSOL I 28:45)

b. ṭéraḳ míˀšer men ṭíyoʰ ˁaf yebáraḥ be-gáḥi wa-ṣáme ‘A billy goat fell into a gorge, landed in a wadi and died’ (CSOL I 9:3)
