a. wa-kobk tos di-bustán kor stɛ ḳö́ṣho wa-beḷáṣoʰ wa-ˁádoʰ šḥᵃyéroʰ ‘I brought her (the sick goat) to the garden to eat some grass. It ate a bit and kept improving’ (CSOL I 11:4)

b. góˁor bᵉˁer wa-ˀénkaˁk heʸh ékšeʰ wa-bö́laṣ meʸh énṭe wa-ˀaḷ-ˁad ˁégeb ‘One of my camels fell ill. I brought it some branches from the ékše-tree. He ate from it a little bit, but did not want to eat anymore’ (CSOL I 11:4)
