a. wa-kéľľama ékob id-ḥeʰ yéḷfef ḳárḳɛhɛr wa-yebáˁar ‘If they (the larvae of the botfly) enter the mouth, one fills the mouth with earth and then spits (it) out’ (CSOL I 30:21) 

b. záˁak ṭeʸh ľéḳmaʰ men írhɛz wa-ḳáḷaˁk bes di-ḥeʰ wa-tóˀo ebróḥoʰ ménhi be-ḥeʰ ḳéboʰ ménhi be-ḥeʰ ˁaf hέmen ebóˁors di-ḥóʸhi ‘I took a mouthful of rice and threw it into my mouth, but when it was in my mouth, it burned it and I almost spewed it out to the ground’ (ad-Daˁrhi et al. 2019:553)
