a. ṭérodk sέrɛd kor emέḷok wa-ˀaḷ-ḷoyk beʸh ˁaf ṭeʸh šɔm egdéḥiš énhi ṭad ˁeṭábeʸh ‘I was chasing an older goat-kid I wanted to tame, but couldn’t catch it. Then one day a friend of mine brought the kid to me, carrying it on his shoulders’ (CSOL I 28:19)
b. wa-kése ṭáḥrer wa-ṭerέdes ˁaf yíľoy bes wa-ˁeṭábes ‘He met one wild she-goat, chased it, caught it and brought it down upon his shoulders’ (CSOL I 28:19)

a. έˀɛrho tö́bod hɔ ˁam bek ˁenk be-ŝeríḥoʰ ˁaf taˁáṭab bes ḷe-deʰ di-ḥatóˀo ˁaf taˁáṭab bes ḷe-ˁádeʰ ‘It is you who are a liar, for you say you went pulling out the root until you were beyond there, beyond Ade!’ (CSOL II 23:39)

ˁö́ṭab di-rénhem ‘to go to sea (for fishing)’:
fɔ́ne wa-ho ḳéʸhɛn dékerk nɔ́fin aˁáṭab di-rénhem ‘Formerly, when I was young, I remember how I went to the sea to fish’ (CSOL II13:33)
- ˁóṭib 1. to do something without permission; 2. to lead away an animal of another person because of emergency
- áˁṭeb 1. to let enter, to bring in; 2. to carry upon one’s shoulders
- ˁotö́ṭab or ˁatéṭab to be crowded, to be close to one another
