a. gédaḥ tho ˁag wa-ho ksö́wok šóˀofk wa-ˀáḷaḥ še men tɛr wa-raˁk ˁaf eḳáṣaˁ ‘A man came to me, and found me sleeping. He called me from outside and I got up’ (CSOL I 18:8)
b. ṭad ṭérod óˀoz wa-nɛhέroʰ ˁéyki ho wa-ṭad wa-ˀáḷaḥ díki kor eḷóuyoʰ bes ‘One man was running after his goat, which passed by us - me and a friend. The man shouted for us to catch it’ (CSOL I 12:15)
c. ḥeṣk ḫaľáḳ tóˀo éraḥk mey faḳḥ óste ḥe merád wa-ˀáḷaḥk men iˀḥíti kor tekóber énhi ‘I was sewing a dress. Midway through, the bobbin ran out. So I called my sister to wrap thread around the bobbin’ (CSOL II 28:28)
