ṭeʸh ˁénoʰ ẓ̂abíˁo tho medárrasaʰ ẓ̂abíˁoʰ tho ˁan ṭad ˁouyέghɛn endéḳoʰ heʸh ˁaľámaʰ di-déḷaḳ ˁanníˀho wa-ʸheʰ aḷ-ˁan ḥaʰ ˁánhi wa-ḷaṭ bóšik tóˀo ẓ̂abíˁoʰ tho wa-ẓ̂aľamát tho wa-hέmen aḷ-ˁak édrus mey šezḥáreʰ hes ˁaf yekóḷe tho ṭad éˀḥi ˁö́mor áḷaˁ bes kor tšógeˀk ṭa ‘One year my teacher was unjust to me. She put me behind another pupil, giving him a note that was superior to mine, whereas he was in no way superior to me. And I cried because she treated me unjustly and oppressed me, and I was close to abandon the school out of anger towards her. But then one of my brothers persuaded me (to stay), saying: “She shouldn’t have treated you like that!”’ (CSOL III 37:7)
