wa-de di-kíˀi baḷ ľešódoʰ ḷe-ker ḳáˁyhɛr ṣóuḷof be-rího kor yaˀábaˁ ˁéyhen ‘As for the remaining buttermilk, before it is distributed among families one dilutes it with water to make it enough for all of them’ (CSOL III 37:12)

• ṣaḷf drink made of dried dates diluted in water
• ṣéḷof to be close to ripeness
• ṣiľífeʰ a date close to ripeness
