And it ruined the soil and the land, and the water coursed where it had never been, sweeping away palm trees and animals and houses. And there were people who died because of this. Palm trees and (dead) animals were piled up along the wadis, and people clutched their heads in their hands, and some wept’ (CSOL III 19:55)
