a. yeˁoṭíbin di-kése ˁaf ľisáˁ díˀʸheʰ ṣáḥeb di-ˁóṭib ˁeʸh yeẓ̂áḷaˁ heʸh wa-yeˀófiš ‘He seizes any (animal) he can find. When he meets the owner of the animal he took, he tells him (about it) and pays him’ (CSOL I 28:19)
b. gédaḥk di-máṭˁam wa-fŝɛyk ho wa-díˀʸho ṣáḥeb wa-ḷaṭ fɛyk ˁan nɔ́fin wa-ˁan díˀʸho ṣáḥeb ‘My friend and I came to a restaurant and had lunch, and then I paid for myself and for my friend’ (field notes)
