náṭaˁ kírɛš men fouséno ˁaf teṭarében id-ḳáˁyhɛr wa-ṭéroŝ rího ḷe-ker ŝéraṭ wa-ˀékob ḷe-mɛdómis di-ḳáˁyhɛr diˀáḷ eḳníyo ‘Rivulets coursed down the mountain slopes and reached the village. Water accumulated on the streets and seeped  into the foundations of the houses and got through to the stores of food and bedrooms’ (CSOL III 15:8)
